Performs precision manual and semi-automated assembly of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components in a high-reliability manufacturing environment. This role focuses on fine-pitch soldering, component mounting, and detailed microscopic inspection in accordance with strict aerospace/defense and quality standards.

Responsibilities
- Able to read and follows procedures exactly as written.
- Continues to follows Good Manufacturing Practices (2D0-1004) including STEP-C
- Understands all aspects of Sn63 solder assembly including
- Thru-hole components
- Surface mount chips 0402 and larger
- Must recognize J-STD-001 standard regarding materials, methods, and acceptance criteria for producing solder electrical and electronic assemblies
- Use of hand tools such as torque tools, calipers, wire stripping, tinning pots, vacuum ovens, etc.
- Capable of performing tin and wick operations for gold mitigation
- Follow safe guidelines for chemical storage and use
- Maintains safe and clean working areas.
The essential functions of this role include:
- working in a smoke free environment
- wearing steel toe shoes
- manual lifting up to 50lbs
- standing for 8 hours at one time
