We are looking for an energetic and organized Material Handler to manage the movement and tracking of inventory throughout our production plant. You will ensure assembly lines and work cells stay fully supplied with components, receive incoming shipments, and maintain accurate inventory counts to prevent manufacturing bottlenecks and support smooth operations.
salary: $17 - $19 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM education: High School
Responsibilities
- Transport raw materials, components, and subassemblies to designated production areas on schedule.
- Verify incoming material shipments against purchase orders and inspect containers for visible damage.
- Use pallet jacks, hand trucks, and staging carts to move products across departments safely.
- Update warehouse management software (WMS) to document stock transfers and inventory adjustments.
- Keep work aisles, staging lanes, and storage bays clean, organized, and free of debris.
The essential functions of this role include:
