Production Operator

Operating injection molding machinery, inspect parts, and pack to automotive standards. Must have solid English communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work around heat, machinery, and forklift traffic. Requires standing 8+ hours per shift, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift while following 5S and plant safety protocols.Multiple shifts available. $14/hr pay rate. Overtime on Saturdays temporarily required.

salary: $13.99 - $14 per hour shift: Second work hours: 3 PM - 11 PM education: High School

Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks assigned by management.
• Carry out directives from the Production Manager, Shift Supervisor, and Cell Leaders.
• Report poor quality product and low production output to leadership.
• Review job status and machine operation with current shift operators.
• Review and follow operator and packaging instructions at the press.
• Follow work instructions and packaging to MTU Quality Standards.
• Complete all work orders and paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation per 5S standards.
• Adhere to all plant safety rules and attend required safety meetings.
• Work required overtime, early arrivals, or extended shifts as requested by management.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 25lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
