Founded over 50 years ago, We are a proud, family-owned and operated precision manufacturer serving commercial aviation, defense, and space flight sectors. Operating out of our modern, climate-controlled facility, we specialize in high-complexity, flight-critical components held to the strictest AS9100 quality standards.
We offer the best of both worlds: the advanced machinery, challenging work, and stability of a Tier-1 aerospace supplier, paired with the supportive, people-first culture of a family business. Here, you work directly with leadership, your input drives shop-floor improvements, and your contributions are recognized daily.
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with proven proficiency in Mastercam to develop efficient, collision-free programs for precision multi-axis CNC mills and lathes.
In this role, you will bridge engineering and manufacturing - taking customer CAD models and 2D blueprints, designing workholding/fixtures, selecting optimal cutting tools, and writing robust toolpaths for tight-tolerance aerospace parts. You will spend time both in the CAM programming office and out on the shop floor collaborating directly with setup machinists during first-part prove-outs.
Key Responsibilities
- CAM Programming: Program 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machining centers as well as multi-axis CNC turning centers (including live tooling) utilizing Mastercam.
- Process Planning & Routing: Evaluate 3D CAD models (STEP, IGES, SolidWorks) and 2D engineering drawings to establish efficient operation sequences, stock sizing, and setups.
- Fixture & Tool Design: Design rigid workholding, soft jaws, and custom fixtures in CAD to maximize tool access and maintain part stability.
Qualifications Required:
- CAM Expertise: 3+ years of dedicated, professional CNC programming experience using Mastercam (Mastercam Mill 3D / Multi-Axis / Lathe).
- Machining Background: Hands-on background as a CNC setup machinist prior to programming, with a deep understanding of shop-floor realities, chip thinning, and rigid workholding.
salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM education: No Degree Required
