We are seeking a CAD Designer in a Hybrid role in Greenville, SC proficient in MicroStation or AutoCAD with an Associate's degree or vocational background to design equipment layouts for a major new facility. responsibilities:
- Partner with manufacturing leaders and operational experts to support the design and construction of a new facility area.
- Prepare accurate, detailed drawings using MicroStation, AutoCAD, or other CAD software according to provided instructions and sketches.
- Perform layouts of equipment flow lines along with associated supporting piping, hardware, and utilities.
- Execute drawing revisions and changes as directed by engineers while following established drafting procedures and standards.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional team members to align on project requirements, timelines, and accuracy.
qualifications:
Associate's degree in Technology or Drafting, or graduation from a related vocational-technical program with relevant experience.
Proficiency in CAD software (MicroStation or AutoCAD) with a solid understanding of drafting practices, mechanical design, and spatial layout skills.
Preferred experience performing equipment flow line layouts with supporting piping, hardware, and utilities in a manufacturing environment.
