Randstad is looking for detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assemblers for multiple manufacturing companies. In this role, you will work from blueprints, schematics, and standard operating procedures to assemble, wire, inspect, and test finished products. *Must have experience using precision measurement tools*
salary: $20 - $25 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical frames, housings, and brackets while routing, stripping, crimping, terminating, and soldering electrical harnesses, circuit boards, switches, and motors.
- Read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings, electrical point-to-point wiring diagrams, and bills of materials (BOM).
- Safely use hand, power, and pneumatic tools, calibrated torque drivers, wire strippers, crimpers, and soldering irons.
- Verify mechanical alignments, clearances, and torque specs; test electrical continuity, resistance, and ground bonds using digital multimeters.
- Follow Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) handling practices, facility safety guidelines, and 5S organization standards.
The essential functions of this role include:
- wearing steel toe shoes
- working in a non-temperature controlled environment
- manual lifting up to 30lbs
- standing for 8 hours at one time
