EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
We are seeking experienced Drywall Technicians to join our modular home production team in West Jordan, Utah. This is a full-time, year-round position working primarily inside a manufacturing facility.
Applicants must have previous hands-on drywall experience. Applicants without relevant drywall experience will not be considered for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Hang and install drywall
- Tape and mud drywall joints
- Sand and prepare drywall surfaces for finishing
- Apply texture and complete finish work
- Perform drywall repairs and touch-ups as needed
- Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall accurately
- Safely operate drywall hand tools, power tools, and equipment
- Maintain quality workmanship while meeting production schedules
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous hands-on drywall experience required
- Experience with drywall hanging and/or finishing
- Knowledge of drywall tools, materials, and techniques
- Ability to produce smooth, quality finished surfaces
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install materials
- Ability to follow construction plans and supervisor direction
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
- Residential, commercial, or modular construction experience
