Modis is seeking a User Experience Designer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI. This role focuses on coordinating and supporting end-to-end user research activities while organizing findings into clear, actionable insights that help teams make informed decisions. Rate Range: $50/Hour to $55/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
User Experience Designer Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate end-to-end research operations, including participant recruitment, scheduling, session logistics, consent management, and study closeout.
- Support research activities through preparation, note-taking, observation, data tagging, synthesis, and reporting of key findings.
- Conduct desk research and review existing evidence to identify insights, knowledge gaps, and actionable recommendations.
- Organize and maintain research documentation, repositories, templates, guides, and process assets for future reuse.
- Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, ensuring priorities, timelines, and project status are communicated effectively.
- Evaluate and document new tools, workflows, and AI-enabled research solutions, helping teams apply technical capabilities to research needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in UX Research, User Research, or a similar research-focused role.
- Experience supporting qualitative and quantitative research activities, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with research and collaboration tools such as Dovetail, Figma, Miro, Excel, Teams, and survey platforms.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $55.00 per hour
