Akkodis is seeking a ADAS System Validation Engineer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI. The ideal candidate will drive the development and enhancement of BlueCruise software features by supporting modeling, testing, validation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful feature delivery. Rate Range: $42/Hour to $45/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
ADAS System Validation Engineer Responsibilities include:
- Develop and enhance BlueCruise features by supporting software modeling, integration, and validation activities.
- Create, maintain, and debug MATLAB/Simulink models to support ADAS feature development and software releases.
- Perform regression, unit, and integration testing to ensure feature performance, quality, and compliance with program timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and suppliers to refine requirements, resolve issues, and deliver production-ready solutions.
- Analyze vehicle and simulation data to identify performance concerns, support root-cause investigations, and improve feature functionality.
- Support functional safety activities, validation testing, and software delivery efforts for next-generation ADAS and BlueCruise technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Computer, Software Engineering, or a related technical field; master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of professional experience in MATLAB/Simulink modeling, software development, or ADAS feature development.
- Hands-on experience with ADAS technologies such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping, Lane Centering, Blind Spot Detection, or similar driver assistance systems.
- Strong knowledge of software validation, testing, and release processes, including unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing.

Pay Details: $42.00 to $45.00 per hour
