Akkodis is seeking a Data Governance Lead for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will lead data lineage and metadata management initiatives to improve visibility, traceability, and governance of critical enterprise data assets Rate Range: $48/Hour to $50/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Data Governance Lead Responsibilities include:
- Lead the development and maintenance of end-to-end data lineage across source systems, data platforms, and reporting environments.
- Drive enterprise metadata management initiatives, including the definition and enforcement of metadata standards and governance processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to improve data visibility, traceability, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee the onboarding and management of critical data assets within the enterprise data catalog.
- Establish data stewardship, ownership, and lifecycle management frameworks to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Support audit, risk, and compliance requirements by enabling transparent data traceability and lineage reporting.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Lineage, Metadata Management, or Data Catalog initiatives.
- Proven experience implementing and managing enterprise-wide data lineage and metadata management frameworks.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, data stewardship, regulatory compliance, and data quality practices.

Pay Details: $48.00 to $50.00 per hour
