Start your new career as a Temporary Custodian with MAU at Kyocera International in Hendersonville, NC. As a Temporary Custodian, you’ll keep the building and workspaces clean and safe, and help set up and clean up for meetings and events on site.

What We Offer:
• Pay starts at $18.00 per hour, based on experience
• 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, with some flexibility in hours
• Temporary assignment expected to last through the end of the year
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) provided
What We’re Looking For:
• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of janitorial or related experience highly preferred
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Ability to stand and walk for 90% of the workday
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, 25 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs regularly
• Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed
• Ability to work independently and handle several cleaning projects at once
What You’ll Do as a Temporary Custodian:
• Clean and maintain rooms, floors, the cafeteria, bathrooms, and other areas, plus special projects
• Follow the daily cleaning schedule set by the facilities manager
• Complete 5S activities on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
• Set up furniture and supplies for meetings and events, then handle cleanup and teardown
• Use the right cleaning methods and chemicals, including specialized processes for lab and clean line spaces
• Safely operate ladders, floor sanders, polishing equipment, carts, dollies, hoists, and other cleaning tools
• Control access to cleaning chemicals
• Deliver and inventory supplies such as cleaning agents, toilet paper, and towels, and enter purchase requisitions into SAP as needed
• Report safety, security, damage, and spill issues right away to facilities or EHS team members
• Support energy conservation and environmental compliance in all your work
• Follow International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and site security protocols
• Treat employees and visitors with a helpful, courteous attitude
• Perform other related duties as assigned
