Shot Blast Operator
MUST HAVE STAND-UP FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE
Location: West Memphis, AR
Pay: $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience
Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Shot Blast Operator for an industrial manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have stand-up forklift operating experience, a strong work history, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Operate shot blast equipment to prepare steel tanks for painting and protective coatings.
- Use quality control tools and gauges to verify products meet specifications.
- Operate a forklift to move and load tank products for shipment.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and inspections.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Request materials and supplies as needed.
- Follow all applicable safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Required: Previous stand-up forklift operating experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of continuous employment in a commercial or industrial setting.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic reading and math skills, including addition and subtraction of whole numbers and decimals.
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to stand for the entire shift.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds throughout the workday.
- Good hand-eye coordination and visual acuity.
- Ability to climb, stoop, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the yard.
