Temporary Switchboard Operator Were hiring a dependable, patient-focused Temporary Switchboard Operator to support a busy healthcare practice in Mobile, AL. This is a temporary position expected to run through December 31, 2026. Job Responsibilities: - Answer, route, and place calls promptly and professionally. - Record and deliver accurate messages and follow-up requests. - Provide clear information about services, hours, policies, and basic scheduling. - Handle routine, difficult, and urgent calls calmly and direct callers appropriately. - Document calls and protect confidential information in compliance with HIPAA. - Complete clerical tasks and other assignments that support daily operations. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Customer service or call-center experience preferred. - Strong communication, listening, and basic computer skills; able to learn electronic systems.
