Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer to lead testing efforts for the implementation of a third-party asset management solution supporting NERC-regulated assets, including substations and other critical infrastructure. This individual will serve as the senior testing advisor for the project, owning the overall testing strategy and leading System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). They will develop comprehensive test plans and test cases, provide testing estimates, coordinate testing schedules, facilitate testing sessions, and ensure defects are identified, tracked, prioritized, and resolved. The Senior Test Engineer will work closely with the system integrator responsible for installing and configuring the solution within the organization's environment, as well as internal development teams, contractors, business stakeholders, and the automation team. They will perform and oversee both manual and automated testing across application functionality, integrations, installation, and usability. This person will also define and track QA metrics such as test coverage, execution status, defect counts, and resolution progress, and communicate testing results, risks, and overall readiness to project leadership and management. Because this solution will operate within a NERC-regulated environment, the engineer must be comfortable working within formal compliance, documentation, change management, and testing requirements.
