5+ years of Business Analyst experience Very strong Excel with experience building financial/data models and forecasts from scratch Intermediate SQL; Power BI is a plus Experience with financial sizing/value analysis, including areas like revenue opportunities, productivity/FTE savings, cost savings, yield, risk avoidance, ROI, etc. Strong stakeholder management and executive presence, including presenting to VP-level leadership and tailoring the level of detail to the audience True self-starter who can take an ambiguous business problem, develop an approach, build the analysis/model, and drive it through stakeholder review with minimal direction

Job Description

A client of Insight Global's is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to focus on financial modeling, forecasting, and value sizing, helping the business understand the financial impact of new initiatives and opportunities. They’ll spend roughly 60% of their time building models and performing complex analysis and 40% managing stakeholders, working with metrics like revenue, productivity/FTE savings, cost savings, yield, and risk avoidance. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can take an ambiguous business problem, develop an approach, and drive the analysis from start to finish with minimal direction. They need strong Excel, intermediate SQL, and experience building financial/data models from scratch. Strong executive presence is also critical, as they’ll need to confidently present findings and tailor their communication for audiences ranging from junior analysts to VP-level leadership.
