Job Description
As the Project Accountant, you will serve as a key financial resource for a large, complex construction project in Downtown Nashville, helping ensure all project-related financial activity is accurate, organized, and up to date. This role requires you work in-office 100% of the time. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, field leadership, vendors, subcontractors, and accounting teams to review and process invoices, support accounts payable and monthly billing, track project costs and budgets, and manage financial documentation. You will also assist with forecasting, budget-versus-actual reviews, burn-rate analysis, cost reporting, and change orders to help project leadership understand the overall financial health of the project. In addition, you will maintain important project documentation, including lien releases, insurance compliance records, and vendor and subcontractor information. This is a hands-on role where you will have the opportunity to take ownership of the financial details, identify discrepancies, collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, and help keep the financial side of a fast-moving project running smoothly.
