Insight Global is seeking a senior Enterprise Supply Chain & Logistics Solution Architect to support KBR’s development of an integrated enterprise logistics solution for NASA. This individual will work alongside KBR’s business development, capture, operations, technology, pricing, and functional teams to help develop the initial proposal and design a scalable logistics operating model across NASA Centers.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in supply chain transformation, enterprise logistics, systems integration, and solution architecture. This role requires more than traditional warehouse or transportation operations experience. The selected individual must understand how supply chain processes, systems, technology, data, governance, people, and performance measures work together within a complex enterprise environment.
The consultant will initially support KBR’s proposal and solution development efforts and may have the opportunity to transition into a longer-term position supporting additional enterprise logistics opportunities or program operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design an integrated, enterprise-wide supply chain and logistics operating model across multiple locations.
- Develop solutions across demand planning, inventory, warehousing, transportation, fleet, property/equipment management, and asset disposition.
- Assess current operations and develop future-state processes, workflows, and improvement strategies.
- Define technology and systems solutions using ERP, EAM, WMS, TMS, analytics, automation, and enterprise visibility tools.
- Establish supply chain KPIs and identify opportunities to improve inventory visibility, material availability, efficiency, cost, and mission readiness.
- Develop CONOPS, process maps, solution architecture, implementation plans, benefits cases, and proposal-ready technical content.
- Partner with business development, operations, IT, pricing, and functional SMEs to develop and refine the overall solution.
