Job Description
The Controller is the steward of our client's financial integrity. Responsible for all accounting functions of a private company with approximately $500M in annual sales, this position owns the general ledger, the monthly close, financial reporting, internal controls, the external audit, and cash management, ensuring that every number leadership relies on is accurate, timely, and prepared in accordance with U.S. GAAP. This is more than a traditional controllership. The Controller combines deep technical accounting expertise, financial planning and analysis, operational discipline, and team leadership to build structure where it is needed most. Working alongside and in support of the FP&A and Financial Operations teams, this role turns complex, high-volume transactional data from multiple systems and databases into reliable financial statements, actionable analysis, and clear insight that guides business decisions. As a leader, this position sets the standard for accuracy, ownership, and continuous improvement within Finance. By leading a fully remote team of approximately five accountants across multiple time zones, automating and streamlining processes, and partnering closely with executive leadership, our parent organization, and external advisors, the Controller ensures the accounting function scales confidently with the business. We can offer around $190K for this position plus bonus, depending on experience.
