Insight Global is seeking a BIM Coordinator for a top structural engineering and building design client. This individual will support the delivery of accurate, coordinated structural models and construction documents while serving as a key technical resource for project teams. The BIM Coordinator will work closely with engineers, project managers, and BIM leadership to develop structural Revit models, coordinate with architectural and MEP disciplines, maintain BIM standards, troubleshoot Revit issues, and ensure high-quality project deliverables. The ideal candidate has approximately 5 years of progressive BIM, Revit, and structural building design experience and is looking to continue developing their technical and leadership capabilities with a potential career path into BIM management.
Day-to-Day:
Develop and maintain structural Revit models and construction documents alongside engineers and project managers Create accurate plans, sections, details, and schedules based on engineering direction Incorporate design revisions and ensure changes are accurately reflected throughout drawing sets and models Coordinate structural models with architectural, MEP, and other consultant models Review linked models, identify conflicts, and communicate coordination issues to project teams Participate in internal and external project coordination meetings Track BIM/model coordination items through resolution Support project setup, model sharing, and document exchanges Review models and drawings for quality, accuracy, completeness, and compliance with BIM standards Backcheck completed work and resolve quality issues before submissions Reinforce proper use of Revit templates, families, naming conventions, and modeling practices Troubleshoot day-to-day Revit and model coordination issues Help organize BIM project tasks and communicate priorities, resource needs, and scheduling challenges Monitor BIM deliverables and raise potential deadline or quality concerns Assist with Revit content maintenance and workflow improvements Share BIM best practices and technical knowledge with the broader team Provide project-level technical leadership and support BIM Technicians
Shift: 4 9 hours day and 4 hour Friday which is remote
