Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Aircraft Structures Mechanic will perform heavy structural maintenance, repair, and modification work on aircraft.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Perform heavy structural maintenance, repair, modification, and rework on aircraft and aircraft components.
• Complete structural modifications as part of an established aircraft modification program.
• Remove, repair, replace, and reinstall aircraft structural components in accordance with approved technical data.
• Perform drilling, riveting, fastening, fitting, trimming, countersinking, and other aircraft sheet-metal and structural tasks.
• Inspect aircraft structures for cracks, corrosion, damage, wear, deformation, and other structural concerns.
• Complete structural repairs using approved engineering instructions, technical manuals, drawings, and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, repair instructions, technical orders, and aircraft maintenance manuals.
• Perform aircraft disassembly and reassembly to support structural repairs and modifications.
• Complete limited A&P-type mechanical maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Accurately document completed work in maintenance records, work orders, and other required documentation.
• Maintain proper tool control and comply with all safety, quality, regulatory, and foreign-object-damage prevention requirements.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, inspectors, and other mechanics to ensure work meets program requirements.
• Perform flightline or hangar-based work, including assignments in confined spaces or varying weather conditions when required.
