Job Description
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an AI Automation Engineer for a top insurance and financial-services client. This candidate will bring a strong foundation in production RPA and a demonstrated progression into Python, API integrations, and user-facing AI solutions. The ideal candidate is a pragmatic engineer who knows when to use deterministic automation, when an AI-enabled approach adds value, and how to connect the two reliably. This person will build and support resilient enterprise automations, develop practical LLM-enabled tools, and help guide the organization toward agentic workflows while maintaining strong standards for testing, monitoring, security, and production stability.
Day-to-Day
- Build, enhance, and support production-grade RPA automations
- Maintain live bots and design resilient exception-handling, retry, recovery, and orchestration processes
- Develop integrations using Python, REST APIs, webhooks, SQL, PowerShell, or other appropriate technologies
- Build practical LLM-enabled tools and workflows for real users
- Validate AI output, implement retries and logging, and establish appropriate human oversight
- Evaluate whether each use case requires RPA, AI, custom code, or a combination of approaches
- Test automations after application changes, upgrades, and infrastructure migrations
- Version, review, promote, monitor, and maintain automation packages throughout their lifecycle
- Help manage the health of the existing automation estate, including upgrading, rebuilding, or retiring bots when necessary Operate within enterprise security, access, governance, and change-management standards
