Required Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting capital expenditures, capital projects, or financial operations
- Experience creating, processing, and monitoring Appropriation Requests (ARs) or comparable capital-funding requests
- Experience with Accounts Payable processes, including purchase orders and vendor statements
- Ability to support monthly financial close, accruals, and expense/capital reclassifications
- Experience preparing and analyzing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong reconciliation, analytical, and recordkeeping skills
- Ability to respond professionally and promptly to internal customers, external customers, and vendors Ability to manage deadlines and consistently produce accurate, high-quality work

Job Description
- Create and monitor Appropriation Requests throughout the capital funding process
- Maintain accurate capital expenditure records and communicate capital-spending status
- Partner with the construction organization on project spending questions and training needs
- Process capital projects using SAP, Ariba, and internal systems
- Support Accounts Payable activities and prepare purchase orders for anticipated spending
- Assist with monthly accruals and expense/capital reclassifications
- Support monthly financial close activities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly capital-spending reports
- Verify and reconcile monthly vendor statements and ensure accounts remain in good standing
- Respond to customer and vendor inquiries within required SLAs
