I am working exclusively with a local commercial real estate firm in Northern Virginia who provide excellent advisory services to their clients across project management, brokerage and investments. Due to continued growth, my client is looking to recruit a Project Manager to work as an owner's representative, supporting the vision and aims that their clients have. This is an incredible opportunity to join an industry leader where you will be assigned a specific client, taking projects from initial conceptualization through to handover.
Your new role:
As a Project Manager you will provide professional construction project management experience to designated projects and assignments at a client site. You will Interact with client representatives on-site to ensure their vision for the real estate is met and consistently offering sound construction and real estate advice throughout pre-consontruction through construction. The projects my client has the most needs on at present are within the healthcare/life science sector, where you will be involved in new build and/or renovations of hospitals and you also could be involved in some life science bio-tech/research facility projects too. All of these projects are located within the DMV area.
To be successful in this role:
My client is looking for project managers with 5-15 years of experience in the construction industry, either with a general contractor, construction management firm or would look at a technical electrical or mechanical subcontractor. A 4-year college degree in Architecture/Interior Design, Engineering or Construction is required.
