- Assist dentists during a variety of general and restorative dental procedures.
- Perform expanded dental assisting functions within Florida's permitted scope of practice.
- Place and finish temporary restorations and perform other authorized expanded duties based on your training.
- Take dental X-rays and impressions as permitted by Florida regulations.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain infection control standards.
- Educate patients on procedures, treatment plans, and post-operative care.
- Work closely with the clinical team to maintain an efficient, positive, and patient-focused environment.
What We're Looking For
- Completion of a qualifying expanded-functions training program recognized by the Florida Board of Dentistry.
- Florida dental radiography qualifications required.
- Previous dental assisting experience, preferably in restorative and general dentistry.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work confidently and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, team-oriented attitude.
- Dependable, organized, and passionate about patient care.
- Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software is a plus.
