At Chick-fil-A, Dining Room Hosts and Hostesses play an important role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest. The Host position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, takes pride in keeping spaces clean and inviting, and is passionate about providing outstanding hospitality. As a member of the Front of House team, you’ll help guests feel valued by offering friendly assistance, maintaining the dining room, and ensuring customers receive prompt, attentive service throughout their visit.
As a Dining Room Host/Hostess, your day will involve welcoming guests with a smile, helping create a comfortable dining environment, and checking in with customers to ensure they have what they need. You’ll keep tables and dining areas clean, assist guests when needed, and work alongside Team Members to maintain a positive atmosphere during busy meal periods. Whether you’re helping a family settle in, clearing and sanitizing tables, or offering a friendly touch to someone’s visit, you’ll help make every guest feel cared for.

Dining Room Host/Hostess Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist guests with a friendly, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
- Build connections with guests through eye contact, conversation, and attentive service
- Maintain clean, organized, and inviting dining areas throughout each shift
- Clear, clean, and sanitize tables promptly while following restaurant cleanliness and safety standards
- Respond to guest needs and provide timely assistance to enhance the dining experience
- Work collaboratively with Team Members to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations
- Demonstrate reliability, flexibility, and a strong commitment to serving others
- Follow Chick-fil-A standards, policies, and dress code
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must have availability between 8:00 AM and 9:30 PM, including Saturdays
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Must be available to work at least 3 days per week
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be comfortable interacting with guests and Team Members in a friendly, professional manner
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and remain active for extended periods
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs regularly
- Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or a host/hostess role is preferred but not required
