We’re looking for someone with proven experience coding web apps with functionality and aesthetics in mind. Are you constantly curious about new design and development trends and are proactive to suggest or learn them? This position may be right up your alley . Candidates for this position must have a strong understanding of current web development technologies, as well as a strong background in design, and be able to apply this knowledge in a fast-paced, really fun environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test animated, dynamic and engaging web interfaces with a focus on ease of UX and brand messaging
- Communicate with management and client to understand business requirements and suggest wireframes that would solve business problems utilizing as many existing components as possible.
- Drive design projects from concept to completion with all the HTML, CSS and Javascripts for layouts and web components ready
- Collaborate with backend developers to get required information from the API endpoints
- Make sure that all the themes responsive and WCAG compliant
- Follow framework concepts and best practices, so other frontend developers can support your projects
- Test and optimize interfaces for UX flow issues and slow page load times
Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of frontend web development & UI design experience
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required)
- Have an eye of the designer and a mind of a coder
- Ability to understand business needs and suggest solutions for best user experience
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Bootstrap 4/5, JavaScript + any modern JS framework
- Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or similar for raster and vector graphics editing
- Experience with Sketch, XD or other comparable prototyping tools
- Strong understanding of how page load and browser rendering works and how to get high ratings at Lighthouse and PageSpeed insights
