At Bubble Up, we live to help our clients navigate in an era where brands must constantly transform their marketing and digital strategies to effectively engage and connect with their customers and their communities – whether in the same neighborhood or across the globe. To do this, we rely on a team of talented people who develop some great technology, create successful online strategies for clients, and provide uncompromising customer service. We’re adding to our team…and if you love keeping people happy with your radiant interpersonal and communications skills, we’d love to talk to you about becoming an Account Manager. It’s a challenging role that requires juggling client needs, organizing project priorities, and building great relationships. Basically, our AMs are like the mac and cheese at your family holiday’s potluck dinner – a “must have” that everybody loves, and just makes things complete. If you’re looking for one of those consistent, steady positions – you’re probably not in the right place. There’s no “regular” day as an Account Manager here, and that’s what brings the energy and sizzle to the office that we pass on to customers. As part of our fun digital team, here are just a few things you’ll be doing:
For both entertainment and corporate customers:
- Adding content to web sites (news articles, product descriptions, sales info, tour dates, ticket links, etc.)
- Editing content as client business goals evolve
- Developing strategy for and maintaining fan clubs
- Creating effective email campaigns
- Designing cool stuff for social media and digital ads
- Managing customer service inquiries
A few things you need to be good at:
Basic graphic design fundamentals
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with an emphasis on Photoshop and/or Illustrator
- HTML (but wanting to dig deeper into it)
- Advanced organizational skills specifically with deadlines, important dates, and file management
- Problem solving in a fast-paced environment (sort of like NASCAR fast)
- Writing (reports, client communication, witty IMs to team members)
- Team collaboration
- Details…these are important
- Did we mention fast-paced environment?
There are a few things that will make you stand out to us… proficiency working in a website CMS, skills in social media planning and execution, and experience in developing killer emails (the ones that get opened and translate into conversions are our favorite). In the spirit or full disclosure, we do want to let you know that our culture is hard to describe. We work hard, play harder and celebrate our client successes whether it’s 5 o’Clock on a Friday or 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday. And, you might be called on in meetings to share your favorite local restaurant, talk about the first concert you ever went to, brag about your pet, or tell us why you did or didn’t binge watch “The Crown.” We collaborate, we help each other, and we have a good time. One thing’s for sure – you won’t find a more exciting place to grow, learn, lead, and do some great work. If you are still reading, this is a good sign. You might be our kinda people! Reach out... you may have found your next career home.
