Position Title: Civil Engineer - Industrial Projects
Most industrial engineers never see more than one plant. This role puts a civil and structural engineer on more than ten projects at once, ranging from local government facilities to specialized manufacturing sites, with no two projects alike. The Civil Engineer - Industrial Projects works beside a senior civil PE, retrofitting existing structures from 3D facility scans through office design and into the model.
The environment suits an engineer who is working toward a PE and wants a defined path to it, with direct support from the senior PE on the team. Fast project turnover and consulting-style multitasking are central to the work. Hours carry some flexibility, including whether Fridays are worked, and a 4x10 schedule may be possible. The position is based onsite in Beaumont, TX, with minimal travel.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 / Year DOE
