Original job description
Position Title: Financial Advisor
A proprietary alternative investment fund, a marketing team that books appointments, and a firm committed to building one advisor's practice define this opportunity. The Financial Advisor will manage a portfolio of accredited and unaccredited investors, with an average client size of $500,000. The firm funds regular seminars, local events, and client lunches, and a dedicated operations and client service associate handles paperwork and scheduling. Roughly 40 percent of new appointments will come from leads, and the remaining 60 percent will come from referrals and direct outreach.
The firm is guiding clients toward a proprietary alternative investment fund that has paid 6 percent annually since 2010, and leadership is looking for an advisor who will champion it. The environment is collaborative and entrepreneurial, with mentorship, autonomy, and a flexible work-life balance. Leadership treats employees as adults and invests heavily in the success of this hire. Equity participation opportunities are available.
Salary Range: $150,000 - $175,000 / Year DOE Plus 20 percent of fee billing on new assets under management and 30 percent of fee billing on assets placed in the firm's proprietary fund, with additional bonuses for assets placed in the fund

- Educate clients with clear, compliant communication about complex investment opportunities
