The experienced Project Manager will be an invaluable asset working with Bionano’s leadership on both internal projects and external collaborations. The specific duties include:
· Provide professional project management of key internal and external projects
· Gather project status and update schedules and budgets
· Formally communicate project status updates
· Coordinate project review meetings and capture notes
· Create summary reports for senior management
· Assist in the budgeting activities for all projects in the project portfolio
Required Skills:
· At least 5 years of project management experience
· At least 2 years of hands-on experience with MS Project or similar
· PMP certified
· Proven ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects
· Experience working with technical teams
· Effective communication, organization and time management skills
· Experience with sharing information via tools like Sharepoint, Wiki, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
· Proficient with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio
· Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering field
Nice to Have Skills:
· Experience with a Phase-Gate development process
· Have worked in a life science or a medical device company
