This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automated material handling systems and facility equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.This is an excellent opportunity for maintenance professionals looking to grow their careers with a stable organization that offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial and automated warehouse equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Maintain and repair conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains, rollers, and related material handling equipment.
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective repairs to minimize downtime.
- Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential maintenance issues before failures occur.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Complete maintenance documentation and work orders accurately.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
- Work closely with operations teams to maximize equipment uptime and performance.
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience with conveyors, automated systems, and warehouse/distribution equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, sensors, and drives.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, and work in an industrial environment for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working at heights and around moving machinery when required.
