Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Winston Manor – Chicago, IL
Winston Manor is seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our nursing team. Our LPNs play an important role in providing quality, resident-centered care while working collaboratively with CNAs, RNs, nursing leadership, physicians, behavioral health professionals, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available across AM, PM, and NOC shifts.

Responsibilities
- Provide safe and appropriate nursing care to residents
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
- Monitor residents and promptly report significant changes in condition
- Respond appropriately to resident medical and behavioral health needs
- Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized resident care plans
- Supervise and appropriately delegate responsibilities to CNAs
- Communicate effectively with residents, physicians, nursing leadership, and members of the interdisciplinary team
- Collaborate with Social Services, behavioral health, Activities, Dietary, and other departments
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and other resident-care processes as assigned
- Maintain resident dignity, privacy, safety, and quality of care
- Follow facility policies, infection-control practices, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Perform additional nursing duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Illinois
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to supervise and appropriately delegate to nursing staff
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to resident care
- ICF, behavioral health, long-term care, or related nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Must meet applicable health and background requirements
Schedule
Available shifts include:
- AM: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- PM: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
- NOC: 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available
- Weekend and holiday availability may be required based on facility needs
