Registered Nurse (RN) Winston Manor – Chicago, IL

Winston Manor is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our nursing team. Our RNs play an essential role in providing quality, resident-centered care while providing clinical leadership and working collaboratively with nursing staff, physicians, behavioral health professionals, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available across AM, PM, and NOC shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and appropriate nursing care to residents
• Perform nursing assessments and monitor resident conditions
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
• Identify and promptly communicate significant changes in resident condition
• Notify physicians and appropriate members of the care team regarding resident needs and changes
• Develop, review, and update individualized resident care plans
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Supervise and appropriately delegate responsibilities to LPNs and CNAs
• Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff
• Respond appropriately to resident medical and behavioral health needs
• Communicate effectively with residents, physicians, nursing leadership, and members of the interdisciplinary team
• Collaborate with Social Services, behavioral health, Activities, Dietary, and other departments
• Maintain resident dignity, privacy, safety, and quality of care
• Follow facility policies, infection-control practices, and applicable regulatory requirements
• Perform additional nursing duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to supervise, delegate, and provide clinical leadership
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to resident care
• ICF, behavioral health, long-term care, or related nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Must meet applicable health and background requirements

Schedule

Available shifts include:

• AM: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• PM: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
• NOC: 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM
• Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• Weekend and holiday availability may be required based on facility needs
