Position: Excavating Laborer Company: Werab Excavating Location: Atwater, Ohio Job Type: Full-Time ### About the Position Werab Excavating is looking for a dependable, hardworking Excavating Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate is motivated, willing to learn, works well with others, and takes pride in performing quality work. This position will assist with daily excavation and construction operations, including residential and commercial projects. ### Job Responsibilities - Assist operators with daily excavation activities. - Perform general labor on excavation and construction sites. - Assist with digging, grading, backfilling, and site preparation. - Install drainage pipe, culverts, and other underground utilities. - Assist with septic system installations and repairs. - Perform shoveling, raking, cleanup, and site maintenance. - Help load, unload, and organize equipment and materials. - Follow all company safety procedures and job-site requirements. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment. - Perform other duties as assigned. ### Qualifications - Previous construction or excavation experience preferred but not required. - Ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy materials. - Dependable with a strong work ethic and good attendance. - Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team. - Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions. - Valid driver's license preferred. - CDL A is a plus but not required. ### What We Offer - Competitive pay based on experience. - Full-time, year-round employment. - Opportunity for advancement and hands-on training. - Work with a family-owned company. - Opportunity to learn equipment operation and develop new skills. ### What We're Looking For We want someone who shows up on time, works hard, pays attention to detail, and is willing to learn.
