Werab Excavating is looking for an experienced, dependable Excavating Foreman to join our team! We are seeking a motivated leader with a strong work ethic, hands-on excavation experience, and the ability to oversee daily jobsite operations while keeping projects running safely and efficiently. ### Job Responsibilities - Supervise and lead daily excavation crews and jobsite activities. - Coordinate daily work assignments and ensure projects stay on schedule. - Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, dozers, skid steers, and loaders. - Oversee excavation, grading, basement digs, backfilling, and site preparation. - Read and understand construction plans, blueprints, and grade stakes. - Ensure work is completed according to project specifications. - Maintain a safe and organized jobsite. - Communicate with management, general contractors, and other subcontractors. - Monitor equipment conditions and report maintenance or repair needs. - Ensure employees follow company safety policies and procedures. ### Qualifications - Previous excavation and construction experience required. - Previous foreman or crew leadership experience preferred. - Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment. - Knowledge of excavation, grading, drainage, and site preparation. - Ability to read construction plans and understand elevations and grades. - Valid driver's license required. - CDL A required. - Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Dependable, hardworking, and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. ### What We Offer - Competitive pay based on experience. - Full-time, year-round employment. - Opportunity for advancement. - Work with an established, family-owned company. - A team-oriented work environment. ### Position Details - Position: Full-Time Excavating Foreman - Location: Atwater, Ohio - Company: Werab Excavating - Schedule: Monday--Friday, with occasional overtime as needed - Pay: Based on experience
