OPERATIONS STRATEGY & PLANNING MANAGER - VulcanForms (Devens, MA) VulcanForms - founded in 2015 to develop the world?s first industrially scalable laser metal additive manufacturing solution. We build and operate advanced digital infrastructure combining scalable additive manufacturing and precision machining in a clean, safety-focused facility. About the Role: Support the design and implementation of a company-wide management operating system to drive high-impact initiatives and align cross-functional planning with business and financial priorities. Own governance structures, program health metrics, planning cadences, and portfolio-level tradeoff analysis to enable timely executive decision-making. On-site role in Devens, MA; salaried, full-time. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement a management operating system including intake, prioritization, decision rights, and escalation paths - Define and steward governance structures (steering committees, working groups, RACI frameworks) - Drive portfolio-level tradeoff conversations and surface clear options and recommendations for executives - Create and standardize program health metrics and reporting (OKRs, quarterly business reviews, rolling forecasts) and prepare concise, action-oriented leadership materials - Own and improve cross-functional planning cadences: weekly program reviews, monthly exec updates, quarterly planning cycles - Develop resource and capacity visibility across engineering and operations to support scenario planning and tradeoffs - Partner with Finance and HRBPs on headcount planning, workforce modeling, and translating priorities into funded capacity - Connect engineering and product planning to business planning processes (readiness gates, production ramp assumptions, SIOP/IBP inputs) - Act as connective tissue between functional leaders to identify misalignments, broker resolution, and drive follow-through - Support development and socialization of annual and long-range strategic plans with clear milestones and owners Qualifications: - Bachelor\'s degree required (engineering or related field); MBA or advanced degree preferred - 3-5 years experience in hardware, industrial, manufacturing, aerospace/defense, robotics, or complex physical product environments - Familiarity with planning cadences (S&OP/SIOP, program reviews, portfolio management) - Strong analytical skills (Excel/Sheets), structured problem solving, and crisp synthesis - Proven ability to work cross-functionally and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders - Comfortable with ambiguity and accountable for end-to-end workstream ownership Compensation: - Annual base salary range: \$121,101.00 to \$166,513.00 *Actual compensation based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
