Volt is immediately hiring Inventory Control Coordinator in Jersey Village, TX.
As an Inventory Control Coordinator, you will:
Responsibilities:
- Review daily inventory and material status reports, taking appropriate action to address shortages and discrepancies.
- Monitor on-hand inventory levels and recommend inventory adjustments as needed.
- Recommend stock level changes and material status updates to optimize inventory performance.
- Prioritize material allocation for production orders and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
- Generate and distribute daily and weekly inventory reports to support inventory accuracy.
- Assist in maintaining transactional accuracy and integrity within inventory management systems.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, WIP transaction issues, and material availability concerns.
- Support Shipping, Receiving, and Production teams by resolving material flow challenges.
- Generate reports and documentation related to inventory, shipping, and receiving activities.
- Process material and due-date changes for released work orders.
This is a Full-time/ Contract opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant inventory, warehouse, or material control experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience processing inventory transactions and managing material flow.
- Position required lift to 50 lbs. with assistance when required.
- Required stand, bend, squat, and work on ladders for extended periods.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Forklift operating experience is required.
Pay Rate: $18.00 to $20.62 per hour
