If you’re passionate about senior care, enjoy working independently, and want to make a positive impact without committing to a full-time schedule, we’d love to hear from you! What You’ll Do
- Provide individualized nutrition care: Complete nutritional assessments and develop care plans based on residents’ needs, preferences, and health goals.
- Monitor resident well-being: Evaluate nutritional status, identify residents at risk, document findings, and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with care teams: Work alongside nursing, dietary services, physicians, and facility leadership to support resident health and quality of care.
- Support menus and meal planning: Review and approve menus to help ensure meals meet residents’ nutritional needs and dietary requirements.
- Build relationships on-site: Visit the Polson and Hot Springs facilities regularly, ideally at least once per week at each location, to provide consistent support and guidance.
- Promote quality and compliance: Help ensure nutritional care and dietary services meet applicable state and federal regulations and facility policies.
- Educate and support staff: Provide nutrition-related guidance and training to dietary and other facility team members as needed.
- Contribute to quality improvement: Participate in nutrition, hydration, and skin care initiatives and help identify opportunities to improve resident outcomes.
