Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for greeting guests with warmth, managing the waitlist, and coordinating seating to keep the dining room and kitchen running at a smooth, steady pace.
- Warmly greet arriving guests immediately, estimate wait times accurately, and escort guests to their tables.
- Manage the seating chart and reservation system strategically to pace the kitchen and prevent server burnout.
- Answer phone calls to handle reservation inquiries, answer general questions, and take phone-in takeout orders.
- Keep the lobby and host stand clean, organized, and stocked with menus.
- Bid departing guests a warm farewell and check in on their experience as they leave.
