Original job description

Looking to Make a Real Difference in Someone’s Life, and Get Paid for It?

Thrive Community Support Services (Thrive CSS) is looking for compassionate, reliable people in Bucks County and surrounding areas who want work that truly matters.

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you’ll support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities, helping them live fuller, more independent lives. This role is about connection, trust, and showing up for someone in meaningful ways every day.

If you’ve ever volunteered, helped a neighbor, supported a loved one, or felt called to make a difference, this is for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting individuals with daily activities like meal prep, personal care, and household tasks
Encouraging independence, confidence, and self-advocacy
Helping individuals participate in community activities, employment, and social opportunities
Following individual support plans and health or behavioral strategies
Ensuring safety, dignity, and respect at all times
Communicating openly with supervisors and completing basic documentation

Who We’re Looking For

Kind, dependable, and patient people who genuinely care
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
Ability to pass PA background clearances
Comfortable working independently while being part of a supportive team
Experience with IDD is a plus, but not required (we provide training)

Many great DSPs come from volunteer backgrounds, education, healthcare, ministry, or simply from having a big heart.

Schedule & Pay

Flexible scheduling (daytime, evening, and weekend shifts available)
Part-time and full-time opportunities
Competitive hourly pay based on experience

Why Thrive CSS?

Mission-driven, people-first agency
Supportive leadership and ongoing training
Flexible schedules that fit real life
Work that feels meaningful, not just a paycheck

If you’re looking for work that makes a difference close to home, we’d love to meet you!

Apply today and join a team that truly thrives in supporting others!
