Staffing Coordinator Facility: Sun Harbor Healthcare Location: Charlotte County, FL Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pay: $23 - $26 per hour

You'll play a vital role in ensuring our nursing units are appropriately staffed while supporting employees, leadership, and resident care.
What You'll Do
- Create, maintain, and update nursing staff schedules to ensure appropriate daily coverage.
- Staff nursing units according to census and established staffing guidelines while minimizing overtime.
- Maintain current nursing employee contact information.
- Monitor attendance and tardiness and communicate concerns to the Director of Nursing.
- Collaborate with Human Resources and the Director of Nursing regarding modified duty assignments.
- Assist employees with scheduling requests and staffing-related documentation.
- Prepare and post monthly nursing department schedules.
- Respond to employee questions regarding schedules, staffing, and shift coverage.
- Ensure all new hires receive their ID badge, timecard, and work schedule before orientation.
- Help resolve staffing challenges quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of employee certifications, licenses, and required documentation.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times.
- Serve as backup to the Unit Secretary when needed.
- Prepare payroll for nursing department employees and agency staff.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of one year of Staffing Coordinator experience in a skilled nursing facility.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience preparing staffing schedules and nursing payroll.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare staffing regulations.
- Proficiency with scheduling and payroll systems is preferred.
