About the Role:Sun Harbor is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Physical Therapists to deliver high-quality, personalized care that promotes mobility, independence, and overall well-being for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists to implement treatment plans and maintain the highest safety standards.
• Follow all departmental guidelines, maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ensure resident safety during all therapy sessions and activities.
• Properly use and maintain safety equipment, especially during resident transfers.
• Comply with all regulatory requirements and therapy best practices.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to protect residents and staff.
• Keep therapy areas clean, safe, and welcoming.
• Report any safety concerns or equipment issues promptly.
• Use protective gear when necessary to prevent exposure to biohazards.
Qualifications:
• Active, unencumbered Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Florida.
