Description Streamline Glass, a privately owned glass manufacturer, is looking for a dependable and safety-conscious Truck Loader to join our second-shift team. In this role, you will play a key part in our shipping operations by loading, securing, and verifying our custom glass products for delivery while helping maintain an organized and efficient work environment. Please note the hours for this position are currently 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, but will shift to a 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM / 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM with OT availability if the work is available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load glass products on to delivery trucks using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Ensure that items are loaded securely to prevent damage during transit
- Verify the accuracy of shipments against shipping documents
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Assist with inventory management and organization
- Report any damages, discrepancies, or safety hazards to supervisors
Requirements
- Great attention to detail
- Experience with safety protocols, collaborating effectively, and communicating clearly within team-oriented environment
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs
- Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as lifting, balancing, stooping, and handling of materials.
- Safely hold and carry pieces of glass of various sizes, shapes, and thickness
- Prior experience in the glass industry is a plus but not required
