The Stow Police Department is seeking qualified candidate(s) to fill of one (1) anticipated full-time Police Officer position. The candidates must be at least 21 years old, have a valid Massachusetts driver’s license, and have or be able to obtain a valid LTC. Massachusetts Full-Time Academy preferred but will consider other qualified applicants. Candidates that are currently enrolled in a full-time academy are also encouraged to apply.

Candidate must have the ability to work a variable schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
Benefits include a 4/2 schedule, 70/30 Health Coverage, Paid Holidays, 15 Sick Days per year, Paid Vacation, $1,200 uniform allowance, Opportunity for overtime and paid details. Starting salary is between $64,230 and $79,801 depending on education and experience, with a 2% increase July 1, 2026. Evening and midnight shift differential.
