Original job description

Marketing Associate

Position Overview

Steve’s & Sons is seeking an organized, proactive, and communication-focused Marketing Associate to support marketing coordination, social media planning, and internal and external project communication.

This role is ideal for someone who can keep projects moving, communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams, and support marketing initiatives across digital, print, social media, and customer-facing channels.

The Marketing Associate will work closely with the Marketing Manager, Graphic Designer, Sales Team, Product Team, vendors, customers, and retail partners to ensure marketing projects are completed accurately, professionally, and on time.

This position focuses primarily on communication, coordination, social media copywriting, content planning, marketing material orders, and project follow-through. Creative direction, graphic design, photography, and video editing are not the primary responsibilities of this role.

Key Responsibilities

Communication & Collaboration

Serve as a point of contact for marketing-related communication with vendors, customers, partners, and internal teams.
Communicate project updates, timelines, requirements, and next steps clearly and professionally.
Collaborate with Sales, Product, Leadership, vendors, and external partners to gather information and support marketing initiatives.
Organize feedback, approvals, revisions, and project details to keep projects moving forward.
Represent the company professionally in all external communications.

Social Media Planning & Execution

Write clear, engaging, and brand-aligned social media copy.
Assist with social media calendars, scheduling, and campaign planning.
Gather photos, product information, project details, and updates from internal teams for social media content.
Schedule and publish social media content as needed.
Propose practical ideas for social content, campaigns, and customer engagement.
Coordinate with the Graphic Designer on social media graphics and creative needs.
