Job Description:
- The Order Picker is responsible for locating, retrieving, and preparing products to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Working in a fast-paced distribution facility, this role ensures order accuracy, maintains inventory integrity, and adheres to all company safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment: Read paper pick sheets or use handheld RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to locate and pull merchandise from storage racks, shelves, and bins.
- Quality & Accuracy Verification: Cross-check product SKUs, descriptions, quantities, and lot numbers to ensure pick accuracy prior to handoff to the packing or shipping stations.
- Packaging & Staging: Carefully pack, wrap, stack, and secure items onto carts or pallets to prevent transit damage; transport completed batches to designated loading docks or consolidation areas.
