Royalty Roofing is seeking a dependable and hardworking Roofer I to join our team in Seymour, Indiana. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, are eager to learn the roofing trade, and take pride in producing quality work. What You'll Do
- Assist with the installation, repair, and replacement of residential and commercial roofing systems.
- Load, unload, and organize roofing materials and equipment.
- Installation of TPO/PVC on flat or low slope roofs.
- Follow directions from the Foreman and experienced crew members.
- Maintain a clean and safe and effectively.
- Use hand and power tools, safety policies and procedures.
- Learn, understand, and follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA guidelines. Participate in required safety training and help maintain a safe work environment at all times.
- Will be required to travel out of town approximately 2-4 times per week, with overnight stays as required.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
- Interest in advancing within the organization and taking on additional responsibilities as opportunities become available.
Qualifications
Required:
- Previous roofing or construction experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Comfortable working at heights and on ladders.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Construction Experience – 1 year (Preferred)
- Roofing – 1 year (Preferred)
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
Preferred:
- Valid driver's license
- GPS and route navigation experience.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
