Robert Half Finance & Accounting has partnered with a growing organization in the St. Louis Metro area seeking a full-time Human Resources Generalist. The Human Resources Generalist will serve as a key member of the HR team, supporting employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, recruiting, onboarding, and HR compliance.
Human Resources Generalist Responsibilities:
· Lead performance management activities including coaching, counseling, corrective actions, and employee development initiatives · Administer hourly employee pay programs, including pay progression and compensation changes · Manage employee benefits enrollment, education, and ongoing maintenance within benefit administration systems · Lead full-cycle recruiting and onboarding efforts while supporting employee retention strategies · Serve as a resource for employees and management regarding company policies, benefits, payroll, attendance, and HR-related matters · Investigate and resolve employee relations issues while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism · Maintain accurate and organized employee records, HR files, and department reporting · Oversee unemployment and disability claims processing, ensuring timely responses and compliance requirements are met ·
Human Resources Generalist Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience require · Previous experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred · Strong understanding of employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, recruiting, and HR compliance · Working knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices · Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint · Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
