Position
- Must be able to work during school hours
- Support students with an Individualized Education Program
- Work cooperatively with classroom teachers
- Interpret the abilities and disabilities of students
- Assist in classroom intervention strategies
- Modify general education curricular
- Conduct diagnostic assessments
- Conduct functional behavior assessments
- Write and implement behavior improvement plans
- Facilitate IEP meetings and write IEP goals and objectives
- Meet student and state achievement goals
Required
- $30 per hour
- Teaching license
- Intervention Specialist license preferred
- High quality written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a team
- Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks
