Campus Attendant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and approachable Campus Attendant to join our team at Riverside Commons in Dearborn, MI. As a Campus Attendant for afternoon & midnights, you will serve as a welcoming presence for residents, visitors, vendors, and staff while maintaining a safe and secure environment throughout the campus. This part-time role combines reception responsibilities with routine campus monitoring and customer service. Responsibilities:
- Greet residents, families, visitors, vendors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls
- Monitor visitor sign-in procedures and facility access as required
- Conduct scheduled interior and exterior rounds of the campus
- Observe and report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, or security issues
- Complete routine security logs and incident reports accurately and promptly
- Assist with emergency communications and coordination while maintaining personal safety
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the campus
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in customer service, reception, hospitality, healthcare, or security preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong observational skills and sound judgment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and email
- Ability to work independently while remaining an active member of the campus team
